Best bacon wrapped shrimp I have ever had. Ordered it twice in one week it was so good. Friendly staff as well is always a bonus.

Got food to go after a day on the Rogue River. Burrito was delicious and filling. Food was ready quickly.

Went there with four really good,on the way back from bend OR. Everything was great excitement food drinks and service thank you Miguel's restaurant and saloon.

The service and staff here are great. The restaurant section was just recently reopened after closing due to poor business. The bar area has lottery slot machines available to for adult age patrons to enjoy. The big downside I have with this location is the quality of food. Before the shut down/reopen, there were only a couple menu items that I wouldn't recommend but now I havent really found a meal ive been completely satisfied with, or one I'm even willing to pack up leftovers and bring home. The meat, all of it including seafood, is very very chewy, it tastes cooked and microwaved. The oil used to fry food, seems to be cheap quality, poor tasting and soaks into the food making it taste like the oil and slimy. The drinks are always good quality a,d the staff is on top of things, greatly making up for the food.

Everyone has always been super sweet to us here! If you're into getting overly full, they have a burrito that will put you to sleep and is friggen amazing!

The place is experience in it's self. Great dining family , friends also just for a good time visit of an historic Hotel in Gold Hill , Oregon. Great customer service and awesome Bartenders and drinks to your liking or request . Well maintained and I often enjoy the time with people I meet thier.

Huge portions, but would’ve liked to have paid less as it was not excellent service. The salsa is AMAZING!!!

Food is better than ever and the staff are enjoyable to be around.

Worked at miguels in the kitchen for about a month. I had to quit. During that time i never saw a single employee wash their hands. It made me sick watching them handling raw chicken then going right in the lettuce. Nobody there had any documentation or even a food handlers card. I also watched them drop meat on the ground, pick it up drop it in the fryer then serve it to customers with a smile. It was the dirtiest kitchen I've ever seen. My best advice would be to stay away from this place if you dont want to be infected with salmonella or ecoli.

Did not expect this when we walked in, but dont let the bar entrance fool you, inside is some awesome food, and some great margaritas!

Food and service was good. My daughter had special needs and they had no problem obliging her needs.

We had a wonderful meal and we would stop here again the next time we are passing through. The margaritas are really delicious but strong. 1 was all I could handle.

Fast service, good food. Love that the taco salads have whole beans instead of refried!

New Management

Popular to locals for Oregon Loto slot machine play, 6 machines with good variety of games. Bar is usually much busier than dining area, mostly difficult to get time on a machine. Quiet bar staff that could all benefit from an energy boost. That would hugely change the mood of the entire place. However they are very friendly when engaged with customers. Restaurant is only accessible by walking through area end never really seems to have a good flow of customers. Don't get the pizza it's pretty bad. Management focuses on the bar and the restaurant atmosphere suffer because of it. Dim lighting makes the entire place theme musky which doesn't set a great mood for a family outing but that is not to say that it isn't family friendly because it is welcoming for all ages, in the dining area of course.

We tried this place about 6 months ago. We were unaware that the Restaurant had just closed down and only the Bar was open. We ordered an Appetizer of Jalapeno Poppers and they were still frozen but grease logged. The Bartender gal asked us if we wanted her to drop them in the dryer again.... Needless to say, we never went back.The have just recently re-opened as a Mexican Restaurant but we been reluctant to go back in. We were so hungry today that we forced ourselves to stop in even if it was just Chips & Salsa. After looking things over we decided to order lunch. OMG we are so glad we did! The Food was Fantastic and the Service was Excellent! Robyn ordered something that wasn't even on the Menu and I had the Molcajete De Carne's with a side order of Bacon Wrapped Prawns... I'm in Heaven! We will certainly be back!

My wife did not like the ground beef burrito in sauce it was not very tasteful at all

Most excellent. Chile Relleno ranchero with poblano, yummy. Pork tamale and chicken enchilada with salsa verde soooooo good. There pico de gallo and salsa was also outstanding!!

Love that this restaurant is open again. Food is always good. The staff are really nice and don’t overwhelm you while you eat, they let you be but make sure you have everything you need.

10 out of 10. Recommend the Asada Burrito, very very tasty. Incredible mexican comfort food.

Bar made out of nice poor and she was good looking period only had time for one drink but it was well worth it. Never eaten there but if it's like Miguel's it's out in Shady Cove it should be good.

Awesome food. Small plates?!? NO WAY. It was a platter, not a plate! HUGE. So delicious and well priced. Great service. The (yummy) chips kept coming and we even got a free sweet treat after dinner. We shared 2 entrees between 2 adults and 2 kids and we were all STUFFED. Awesome place.
